This presentation will talk about the use case of an Oracle Spatial Database migration using Ora2Pg and how we can deal with some Oracle features like the old Oracle syntax for join, decode or hints. We will also talk about some of the hard things to migrate like dblink, synonym, autonomous transactions, jobs, C library or Java code... and some PostgreSQL equivalent for RAC, replication, backup, pooling, monitoring.
